Warm weather

Mom and Dad are loving the weather as much as I am. We have had 70 degree weather for the past week!!! Daily we are out in the sun getting our much needed dose of vitamin D! Here's to many more sunny days and time in the sun :0)

9 Months

We had Sadie's 9 month check-up today, the doctor said she is doing great and is developing quite the personality =0) Sadie weighs 15.8 pounds (5 percentile), is 28 inches long (50 percentile). Yes her weight is pretty low compared to her height but the doc said it is because she is so active and moves so much, he isn't concerned at all (thank goodness). I was looking over the list of things that Sadie was doing at 8 months and I am AMAZED at how much more she has learned to do in just a month!

*Sadie now has 4 teeth, 2 on bottom and 2 on top
*Crawls everywhere
*Feeds herself her bottle, yes it took her a while because I nursed her for so long
*Knows how to climb up the stairs (eeek) we need to teach her how to climb down!
*Pulls her self up to everything, couches, mom and dad, entertainment center
*Mimics sounds that she hears
*Throws a screaming fit if she doesn't get things her way
*Opens cabinets and empties out everything that is inside
*Grinds her teeth together (yuck) I don't know what is worse grinding teeth or nails on a chalkboard
*Doesn't like getting her diaper changed, and would prefer to run around naked (gasp) yes NAKED!

Nap Time

This is Sadie right after her nap a couple days ago, I went into her room to get her and found that she had taken her hair clip out, taken off both of her sock and even took off her pants. Yes, she took off her own pants by herself. Jake and I are still trying to figure out how she did it!

Easter

Thanks Grandma Carson for my Easter gift! I loved the fizzy bath egg, adorable hat, Bunny catch game, the pink spiky ball, and the...candy (mom and dad ate it)!

Boise

This past weekend Jake, Sadie and I headed to Boise for a get away, my parents meet us there, we had a great time. It was nice to get away from home and relax and have other people around to help entertain Sadie and of course SPOIL her.


Here is Sadie opening up her easter bag, she got a couple of very cute outfits for this summer, a beach ball, and a book! She loves it all, as you can see by the look on her face =0)


I think this might be the only picture that I have of Jake and I since we had Sadie. It seems like now that we have a kid it is either Jake or I holding Sadie as the other takes the photo. I need to try to take more of just the two of us.




Out to eat, eating some YUMMY food.


Grandma fed Sadie for us! Nice break. Aunt Jess also fed her at the hotel a couple of times. We need you all around us more!




Swimming!


Grandpa and Sadie hanging out in the hotel room. (Check out those hands on her hips!) It was hard having an active baby that likes to crawl and pull her self up to everything in a hotel room. I myself can't even go barefoot without getting grossed out, so having a baby that wanted to play and crawl on the ground was tough. We ended up laying a sheet on the ground and tried to contain her to just that, we did pretty well for the most part.
