Shoes

The other day Sadie disappeared upstairs into her room. I could hear her singing and playing with her toys so I let her be. A couple minutes later I greeted her on the stairs, to my surprise she had gotten into her closet and put on her shoes she wanted to wear! I had no idea she knew how to put on her own shoes. I often find her walking around in mine or Jake's shoes but those are much easier to put on. =)

Christmas

 A couple days before Christmas we began to let Sadie open a few gifts. We figured she would enjoy her presents more if we allowed her to open a few each day. Here she is with her new shopping cart and boots.

 Each time Sadie tore paper off her gift she had to go to the garbage and throw away the paper before she could finish unwrapping it. Hopefully she keeps this habit throughout her life and teen years!

5 YEARS!

5 Years ago today…. I married my best friend, the one I tell all my secrets to, the one I laugh with, the one I cry with, and the one I create lasting memories with. I love you so much Jake. I am looking forward to MANY more years to come.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to our family. All of your time and effort does not go unnoticed. =) MUAH!!!

The Hills

I love bundling up and spending time together to go check out all of the Christmas lights. There is nothing more that helps me get into the Christmas spirit. This is one of my favorite presentations this year

It really shows the “true meaning” of Christmas.

Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios

 We spent 1 day at Magic Kingdom and 1 Day at Universal. We were lucky to get to see the park at Magic Kingdom all decorated for Christmas. They went all out in decorating it was so fun to see.

 Sadie wanted to go sat hi to this furry little guy, but when we got up to him she freaked out a little and didn't want to touch him. She just wanted to look at him!

 HOGWARTS!!!

 Universal had just opened up their Harry Potter World. It was seriously amazing to see how much thought and detail went into this area of the park. Jake and I are big Potter fans, so we enjoyed all the details. You could even hear Moaning Myrtle in the bathroom! 

 Austen, Jess, Alyssa, and Riley they wanted to go on the water ride. Little did they know we were waiting at the bridge by the guns and SOAKED them! LOL I still don't think that they realize that we were the ones drenching them =)
