So yesterday Sadie and I went to the store with to pick up the new movie Tangled! I have been so excited to see this movie, I have heard such good things about it. Sadie just wants to carry the movie box around and let everyone know that it is hers. =)
Back to the reason I am posting... so as Sadie and I are walking hand in hand, out of the store, we walk out into the bright sunlight and begin heading towards the car. When suddenly Sadie begins dragging me, squealing and shreaking "DADDY, DADDY, Momma there's DADDY!" "DADDY, HI DADDY HI!!!" She was so excited to see her Daddy! At least who she thought was her Dad. As the guy got closer to us she suddenly realized this was not her Dad. Poor little Sadie had her heart crushed for a moment. Thank goodness the guy was nice and said hi to Sadie but it was definitely not her DAD!
I had to call Jake at work and tell him what had happened, I was laughing so hard because Sadie was sure that it was her daddy in the parking lot. Due to her excited reaction in the parking lot Jake and I anticipated an equally excited reaction when Jake arrived home from work. However Jake got the cold shoulder. I guess Sadie was still a little bitter that her Dad really wasn't there to surprise her at the store.

Viva Las Vegas
Last night we got back from a fun weekend in Vegas. Jake and the boys in his family have a tradition of going to the Mountain West Basketball Tournament every couple of years. This year Sadie and I were invited to tag along.

We watched lots of games....

Sadie was spoiled, she got a bag of coins to add to her puppy bank :) she loves finding money and adding it to her puppy bank.

One of the games fell during Sadie's nap time so she napped and when she woke up I took her across the street to the Excalaber, they have a fun kids area (similar to chuck-e-cheese) we played games and won some fun prizes!

Here is Sadie cheering on BYU. The guys behind us gave her a pom pom.
I was so impressed with how nice everyone was at the games. We sat by a fun group of people. There was lady that sat behind us that was crazy over Sadie, she bought her treats and even bought her this Dora doll!

Sadie loved the sonic mascot.

We were even able to see Grant Jann and Grandma Carson in Vegas they drove over and hung out with us for part of the day on Saturday :) Thanks for coming to see us, it was lots of fun! Thanks for the gifts. Sadie loved them and still won't put them down.

A big thanks to Grandpa Hill for spoiling us! We miss everyone already!

Active lil one

I love this little girl dearly. She is very active, has her own style and very set in her ways. Some days we sit and talk and cuddle and other days we just butt heads.
The other night we were butting heads so I walked out of the room so I could take a break, we both needed it. I came back a minute later and I was greeted with this smirky smile. Sadie had gotten into the markers and colored on her face and all over the computer mouse pad. What a terd! Even though she tests my patients at times, I still love her!!!!

This pose and picture made me forget about how mad I was. I just had to laugh :) It really shows her personality and sass.
