Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we decided to take Sadie to the pumpkin patch! We had a great time, and enjoyed the nice weather (it felt way to warm to be October). Jake had found this cute little pumpkin patch one day when he was running errands. It was defiantly a family friendly place, perfect for us and other families with small children. They had a small maze, jumbo air trampoline, bing-bag toss, hay ride, fruit stand, fresh apple cider, and kettle corn.

Sadie was so tired she wasn't interested in getting her picture taken. This was the best of about 15 pictures =)

This weekend we also decided that we should take a ride up the canyon to see all of the fall colors, before they are gone and replaced with that white fluffy cold stuff. This is one of my favorite times of year when all of the leaves are changing color.

Road Trip!

So last week we went on vacation to Washington and we decided to drive up even though we had never taken a long road trip with Sadie (we had driven to Idaho Falls with her but that is only a 3 hour drive) this time the drive was 9-10 hours! Jake and I were both a little nervous not knowing how Sadie would act, however she did GREAT!
She slept...
She laughed...
She played with her toys...
and slept some more!
Such a happy baby and such a blessing in our lives! Miss you Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jas and Aunt Jess, Eric, Kristie, Austen, Alyssa, Riley, Chelsea, Terrick, Jenn, and Mic! (sorry if I forgot anyone else! We miss you all!)

Uncle Joel and Aunt Candice

Lil Sadie got to meet her Uncle Joel for the first time this past week, he has been on a mission in Paraguay for the past 2 years. We were so excited to hang out and catch up on life, and Sadie loved him and Candice (soon to be Aunt)! Can't wait to hang out again soon! We miss you both already. Hopefully this distance between us will only be temporary.

Tricks

So Jake has already taught Sadie a little trick (yes, they are already ganging up on me). Jake has taught her to cry and squawk every time I put a bow or headband on her head.

So the other day I was getting ready for work and I had just finished getting Sadie ready, I put her bow on and she starts to squawk. I decide to ignore it because she isn't really upset she is just trying to see where her boundaries are (yes already). Finally after a few minutes I look at her to see what her deal is... and this is what I found! HAHA she really was being finicky for a reason! She couldn't see.

Pictures of Sadie

Here are some pictures of Sadie... I know that I get requests daily from the grandparents for MORE pictures! Hope that these hold you over until I can get more uploaded from my camera.

My Two Favorite people in the WORLD!

Utah State Fair 2009

This year Jake and I decided to venture out to the State Fair. We had a good time looking around at all of the art, crafts, games, animals, and most of all FOOD! Our biggest pull to go to the fair was the food, you know the low fat calorie food that they have there. It tasted GREAT!
Check out this car. I found it fascinating how much junk was piled on it! I loved the little signs with "sayings" on them.
Here are a couple of my favorite sayings!

We decided to take a look at the animals, it Sadie's first time around any type of animal. She just sat there and stared at them.

Love that Hair

I am so glad that our little girl has hair... I have had so much fun with it already. I guess all that heartburn was worth it. It is already long enough to put up in a pony tail!!! Check it out :)
