Sadie's new dance moves!

All morning long Sadie has been dancing and jumping around. She has been in such a goofy mood. She kept saying, "watch... Watch mommy, watch." I was loving all her sweet dance moves so I thought you all might enjoy them as well...I love my child!

Sledding

 Saturday we had a good snow storm. Hopefully the last =) We decided that we better take Sadie out for a quick sledding trip. We thought that she would enjoy getting out of the house and playing in the snow. Sadie loves to walk and step in the snow any chance she gets. 

We budled up nice and warm and headed out to hit a fun hill just up the street from our house. The minute we got out of the car Sadie tells me "it's cold" Yes it was cold, but it was warmer than the temperatures have been the past few weeks. I tried to put Sadie down so she could walk, but NO she wanted me to carry her. "Okay I will carry you," I tell her. As we approach the hill Sadie is just watching all of the kids and adults slide down the hill. I try to send Sadie down with Jake and she won't go, she wants mommy. Jake goes down and she watches. Next is our turn, we sit down on the sled and start off nice and slow, quickly we hit some bumpy snow that turns us sideways and flips the sled. Sadie was pissed, I was laughing. That concluded our sledding for the year =) 

Hope that our next sledding adventure turns out better than this one!

Arizona

We were fortunate to spend some time in sunny Arizona, it was just what we were needing to defrost these bones. We really lucked out and the weather was awesome! 75-80 degrees! 

We got to experience the Renaissance Festival while we were there. This festival was packed with people, we watched...

 This was one of my favorite acts. These acrobats did some pretty amazing stunts!

 Check out this guys feet... do you see what he is standing on? Yes, that is a board balanced on a sphere!

 And last, but defiantly not least. We went to the hypnotist show and Joel got hypnotized! He is the second on from the right. This was the funniest show, this guy, or should I say these people (that were hypnotized) were hilarious!

 Brothers

 Jake and Joel went hiking, Candice was working and I stayed at home with Sadie while she took at nap.   These are some pics Jake took for me so I could enjoy the pretty desert scenery. Glad that they got some guy time in.

This darling, sweet, loving child of mine is so adorable, and so much fun..... BUT... 

 she is beginning to make me being to question if she is a female version of Dennis the Menace!

 While mom's back was turned, lil Sadie decided to dump a bag of flour on the ground.

 I was in a hurry to get out the door to work, so I got out the vacuum and made Sadie clean it up. I thought I was brilliant making her clean up her mess. What kid likes to clean? Welp that would be Sadie she LOVES to clean. So much for cleaning as a discipline. =0) I just wish she was a little more efficient and she could become my permanent house cleaner!

Grandma Carson

 Grandma Carson came to celebrate Jake's Birthday and to hang out!

 She played with Sadie and read books. Sadie loves reading books.

Then on Sunday we went downtown to temple square to show Sadie the statue of Christ. We also got to see the new 3D mini replica of the Salt Lake Temple in the visitors center. The replica is fun to look at and it tells you all out the rooms. If you haven't seen it yet I would recommend making a trip to check it out.

Happy Birthday to my handsome, hard working man! We love you Jake and hope that you have a nice relaxing day today. We are excited to spend some quality time with you 8D

What's been going on at our house.

 Sadie likes to curl her hair with mommy everyday.

 We are very interested in the potty and like to sit on it every day.

 She likes to dress herself and has her very own style.

 Loves to get her hair shampooed at moms work.

 Sitting on the potty some more and guess what on Sunday she actually peed in the potty for the first time!!!!

Sadie's first temp tattoo. She walked around for 3 days with her shirt pulled up showing everyone her "Mickey and Minnie"
