First black eye

Sadie fell on one of her toys today and got her first black eye :( poor thing it's not to bad but if you look close, you can see it. It's on the right eye (your left) off to the side.

The other day as I was cooking dinner in the kitchen, I realized that the house had become really quiet. I looked into the family room to see what Sadie was doing... well she had found her way underneath the coffee table and was pulling down every book and magazine she could get her hands on! Enjoy the movie =0)

Sadie is on the move constantly, she follows Jake and I all around the house acting as our shadow. I think that it is so cute that she likes to be around us so much. My favorite is when I have been gone to work all day and I come home and she sees me, she crawls over to me and sits up next to my feet and looks up at me (this is her way of showing us that she wants to be picked up). The picture above is from a couple of weeks ago, I was packing up the car getting ready to go run some errands and she crawled to the door and watched me. She just wanted to see what I was doing.

It is amazing to watch a child grow and learn, everyday she does something new and exciting. I Love being a parent and Love having a great husband by my side to help me, laugh with me and, and most of all learn with me!

Having Fun!

Sadie is so much fun and such a joy to have around. She is always smiling, laughing. It amazes me everyday how much she grows and changes constantly. I thought I would post some random pictures that I have. The photos above, she was "helping" me fold the laundry. Sadie really just liked the folded clothes, she helped unfold them =0)

8 Months!

Wow is all I can say. Before we had kids time seemed to go by fast, but in this last year time has FLOWN by. I don't know if it is because we are insanely busy, or if time really is going by faster. This last week Sadie's 2nd tooth came through. I am hoping that she doesn't have to deal with the teething for a while, I always feel so bad for her when her teeth are bothering her. She hasn't been too fussy, but you can tell when she is uncomfortable and in pain =(

Now at 8 months of age Sadie is very mobile and very active.
* She can get into a sitting position from stomach
* She can crawl (yes she has given up the army crawl)
* She has her 2 bottom teeth
* Responds when we call her name
* Feeds herself cereal snacks and crackers
* Laughs often and can now fake laugh
* Gets into EVERYTHING!
* Takes off her diaper if we don't get her dressed fast enough (see the photo above)
* Has had 3 haircuts since she was born. (I didn't cut all of her hair mostly just the bang, they grow so fast)
* She is always smiling and happy!

Feeling Better

I am feeling much better, thank you to everyone that called/texted. I am feeling much more myself, so much myself that I have gave up the army crawl and traded it in for faster crawling! Mom and Dad are in trouble now :)
